Inequities in Healthcare for Female and Male Veterans Living with Fibromyalgia

In 2022, Veteran Voices For Fibromyalgia (VVFF) has teamed up with its' sister Fibromyalgia advocacy initiative, The Fibromyalgia Pain Chronicles, (TFPC) and created an informational video series called #TeamFibro #Reloaded This informational video series tackles many topics related to Fibromyalgia. One of those topics is discussing the inequities and barriers Veterans living with Fibromyalgia face, especially those Veterans of Color, when trying to advocate for their healthcare needs for Fibromyalgia and other medical conditions.


Kristal Kent, of Veteran Voices For Fibromyalgia and The Fibromyalgia Pain Chronicles, collaborated with 2 veterans living with Fibromyalgia: Marine Veteran and Fibromyalgia Youth Advocate, Francisco Martinez Jr. and Army Veteran and Fibromyalgia Advocate, Anu Datta.
